* Now the Media Player Classic does show up under some file types of audio files and video files. * Open the Settings app from Start menu, go to Apps > Default apps > Set defaults by app. * Browse to the Media Player Classic folder in C: Program Files, pick up its program execute file mpc-hc64.exe, and check “Always open with this app” box, then click OK button to assigns it. Right click on an mp3 file, choose “Open with…” > choose another app > Look for another app on this PC * Within the File Explorer, find a compatible music file. All related file will be opened through media Classic by default. * Click on Options, go to Formats > File extension, and check all boxes to select all, then click OK button to apply the changes. * First open the Media Classic player, and click on the View option from the menu at top. But I click on the “set all” button and it doesn’t take effect. Locate the Media Classic player from list, and click on Set this program as default link. * It will take you to set default programs in Control Panel.
